When the K2 tank ships to Poland, when Cheongung-II stands watch over Middle Eastern skies, when a KDX destroyer puts to sea — PaxDisk components are aboard. Eight core Korean weapon systems across ground, guided-weapon, air and naval domains: PaxDisk is the storage partner K-defense has qualified and chosen.
PaxDisk does not buy parts and assemble them; it designs the silicon. Our own controller — the brain of an SSD — built the world's first 2TB SSD in 2012. We localised the SATA 6Gbps interface, and went on to a world-class 156-bit BCH ECC engine and encryption IP, covering every stage the data passes through with Korean technology. Twenty-two registered patents and a patent agreement with SK hynix are the record of that design capability.
In defense there is no such thing as "mostly works". Our own SMT line, thermal shock chamber and 20GHz-class instruments close the loop from design through production to test in-house — and since 2005 we have held a zero-defect supply record, evidenced by serial production for the Cheongung system and airborne SSD approval.
Because the core silicon is Korean, no export-control review sets your schedule. Because the design originates in-house, an end-of-life notice is not a crisis. Standing behind a part delivered today until the platform itself retires — that is how PaxDisk works with K-defense.
